My love of real estate stems from a deep appreciation of what it means to have a place to call home. For almost 20 years I worked in television, traveling around the U.S. and the world as a producer for NBC News; then as a reality Co-Executive Producer; and later as a network executive for ABC. I’ve dealt with people from all walks of life, from heartland heroes to Hollywood stars, and it gave me a sincere respect for the wide spectrum of American lives and the core values we have in common: family, community, home. At the end of a trip or long shoot day, I cherished coming back to place I could call my own. That is the feeling I want for my clients.
Working at the top broadcast networks meant I always had to bring my A game to organization, management, negotiation, and creative problem solving. I use these skills every day to help my clients each step of the way as their partner and advocate. As an investor and agent, my approach to real estate centers on relationships. Whether I’m dealing with clients, business partners, contractors, designers, or other agents, I take the time to listen, communicate, and connect.
Just as I am committed to my clients, I’m committed to helping communities in need. I helped launch the Dee Dee Jackson Foundation, a 501c3 charity that brings music therapy to children who have suffered grief and loss. I’m also a swim/surf/snowboard mentor and “Igniter Member” of Stoked.org which connects underprivileged youth to action sports, nurturing tomorrow’s fearless leaders.
